There's a Msc study Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). On the website of the American
www.aamft.org you can find information on this.
A little googling an you will find institutions which offer this masters in Europe. P.e.

We don't have this in the Netherlands, though.

In Hungary unfortunately there's no MA on Family Therapy. Family Therapy is integrated
in the MA programs of Psychological Departments, they offer courses/specialisations on
the topic:

Traditionally Family Therapy is an additional qualification acquired at non-university
institutions in Austria, although there are supposedly efforts to establish this education at
university level.

I haven't been able to find a specific course of family therapy at masters level in
Denmark.
We have a bachelor programme of social work which includes issues related to family
therapy - however, it is only at BA-level.
Maybe family therapy is integrated in Psychology programmes, however I haven't been
able to find any specific information related to this.
For further information, you may have a look at the following link to the English version
of the Education Guide - the national Danish portal on learning opportunities and
professions:

In Flanders there is a "Complementary studies master of family and sexuality studies"
(full-time = 1 year or part-time = 2 years in English 60 credits) which includes some
courses on family therapy. However you should have already a master in psychology,
sociology, pedagogy,... to enter this study, it is not clear to me if your client has already
a master (or a bachelor)?
More information can be found at:
https://www.kuleuven.be/onderwijs/aanbod/opleidingen/E/SC_50045873.htm
Otherwise a lot of private and/or commercial organisations are organising courses (f.e.
only on Saturday during 3 years), it is quite expensive, and only in the Dutch language.
